လူတယောက်ရဲ့ တန်ဖိုးဟာ သူဖြတ်သန်းကျော်လွှားနေတဲ့ ခေတ်ကြီးက သူ့ပခုံးပေါ်ထမ်းတင်ပေးလိုက်တဲ့ သမိုင်းတာဝန်ကို သူဘယ်လောက်သယ်ပိုး ထမ်းရွက်ခဲ့တယ်ဆိုတဲ့ အချက်နဲ့ တိုင်းတာရမှာပဲ" လို့ စာရေးဆရာကြီး ဗန်းမော်တင်အောင် က ဆိုခဲ့ဖူးပါတယ်။

ဒီကနေ့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ ဖြတ်သန်းနေရတဲ့ ခေတ်ဆိုးကြီးက လူတယောက်ချင်းစီရဲ့ ပခုံးပေါ်ကို ကြီးလေးလွန်းတဲ့ "သမိုင်းတာဝန်" တရပ်ကို တင်ပေးလိုက်ပါတယ်။ ဒါဟာ တိုင်းပြည်ကို အမှောင်ထုထဲက ဆွဲထုတ်ဖို့နဲ့ စစ်အာဏာရှင်ကို အမြစ်ဖြတ်ဖို့ဆိုတဲ့ တာဝန်ပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီသမိုင်းပေးတာဝန်ကို ရှောင်လွှဲမသွားဘဲ ရဲရဲဝံ့ဝံ့ သယ်ပိုးကြတဲ့ တော်လှန်ပခုံးတွေဟာ ခေတ်ရဲ့တာဝန်ကို ပခုံးချင်းယှဉ်၊ လက်ချင်းချိတ်ပြီး ဘယ်လိုအခြေအနေမျိုးမှာမဆို ကြံ့ကြံ့ခံ ရုန်းကန်နေကြတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

နေရာဒေသ၊ လုပ်ငန်းတာဝန်တွေ ကွဲပြားခြားနားနိုင်ပေမယ့်၊ ကဏ္ဍစုံကနေ "နိုင်ရာတာဝန်" ကို အစွမ်းကုန် ထမ်းရွက်နေကြတဲ့အခါမှာတော့...
"မင်းလည်းရဲဘော်၊ ငါလည်းရဲဘော်ပဲ"။"

တော်လှန်ရေး" ဆိုတဲ့ ဘုံဦးတည်ချက်အောက်မှာ ငါတို့အားလုံးဟာ ပခုံးချင်းယှဉ်ပြီး ရုန်းကန်နေကြတဲ့ ရဲဘော်ရဲဘက်တွေ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ခေတ်ကပေးတဲ့ တာဝန်ကို ကျောက်ဆောင်လို မာကျောတဲ့ ပခုံးတွေပေါ် ထမ်းတင်လို့... လာပါအတူတူရုန်းကြမယ်ဆိုရင် ကျုပ်တို့ လုပ်ရမယ့် တာဝန်က ရှင်းပါတယ်။

The dark era we are passing through today has laid a heavy "historical responsibility" upon every individual’s shoulders—the duty to pull our country out of the darkness and uproot military dictatorship for good. Refusing to evade this duty, the revolutionary shoulders bravely carrying it stand together—arm in arm, shoulder to shoulder—enduring every hardship with resilient strength.

Though our locations and tasks may differ, as long as we carry out our duties to the absolute best of our ability from every sector...
