လူတွေက ပြောကြတယ် “ရန်သူဟာ ရန်သူ ပီသတယ်” တဲ့။  မှန်ပါတယ် ။ ကျွန်တော်တို့ဟာလည်း ကျွန်တော်တို့ ပီသရပါမယ်။  ပြည်သူ့ကာကွယ်ရေးတပ်မတော် PDF ရဲ့ သစ္စာအဓိဌာန် (၄) ချက်မှာ "ငါတို့သည် ပြည်သူလူထု၏ အသက်အိုးအိမ်စည်းစိမ်ကို ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ပါမည်။” ဆိုတဲ့အချက် ပါဝင်ပါတယ်။ 

အခုလို ဆိုးဝါးလှတဲ့ ငလျင်ဘေးဒဏ်ကို ကြုံတွေ့နေရတဲ့ မိဘပြည်သူတွေကို ကူညီကယ်ဆယ်နိုင်ဖို့၊ ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်နိုင်ဖို့ဟာ PDF တပ်မတော်အတွက် အရေးကြီးတဲ့အချက် ဦးစားပေးရတဲ့ အချက်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဘာကြောင့်လဲဆိုရင် PDF တပ်မတော်တွေ ပကဖတွေဆိုတာဟာ ပြည်သူကို ကာကွယ်ဖို့ ပြည်သူထဲကပဲ မွေးဖွားလာတာ ဖြစ်လို့ပါ။ ဒါကြောင့်လည်း လက်ရှိမှာ ဒေသအလိုက် ကူညီကယ်ဆယ်ရေးတွေမှာ တက်နိုင်တဲ့နေရာကနေ ချက်ချင်းပါဝင်နေကြပြီ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ထပ်ပြီးလည်း အစွမ်းကုန်တက်နိုင်သမျှ အရေးပေါ်ကူညီကယ်ဆယ်ဖို့ နည်းလမ်းအစုံနဲ့ ကြိုးစားသွားကြဦးမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

It is often said, "The enemy behaves as an enemy." This is true, and we must act as ourselves. Four Pledge of Allegiance of  People's Defence Force (PDF)'s includes ,"We will protect and defend the lives, properties, and livelihoods of the people.

Providing rescue and protection to those affected by this devastating earthquake is a key priority for the PDF, as both the People's Defence Force and People's Defence Organisation were created by the civilians to protect and defend the people. Consequently, they are actively engaged in local relief activities at every opportunity. Their utmost efforts will be dedicated to delivering emergency assistance and conducting rescues by all possible means.
